Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under a BCBA. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques while supporting families.

No prior experience required; comprehensive training provided. You should be patient, compassionate, and able to stand and move as needed; lifting up to 50 pounds may be involved.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if not obtained in last year) required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children following individualized behavior plans under BCBA supervision.
• Implement evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and promote skill acquisition.
• Assist families and provide supportive, patient, and team-oriented care.
