Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one, implementing individualized intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

You will teach communication and daily living skills using evidence-based methods while ensuring safety and fostering progress for each child and their family. The role requires patience, compassion, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• One-on-one work with children following individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors while ensuring safety and well-being of the child.
• Collaborate with a team to support client progress and family involvement.
