Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized intervention plans and apply evidence-based techniques to develop communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

No prior experience is required as comprehensive training is provided. The role requires patience, compassion, and teamwork, and involves lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18+ years of age required.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors under BCBA guidance.
• Collaborate with team to support client progress.
