Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, delivering individualized behavior interventions under the guidance of a BCBA. You’ll apply evidence-based methods to teach essential skills and reduce disruptive behaviors in a team-friendly setting.

Training is provided, and candidates should be patient and compassionate. The role involves physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds, and offers opportunities to impact families positively.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and able to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Pass a pre-employment background check.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Participate as part of a team in a dynamic, child-centered environment.
