Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Behavioral Technician to support children and adults with autism and related developmental differences in home and community settings around Tampa. You will work one-on-one with clients under BCBA supervision to build communication, social, and daily living skills.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, recording progress, and creating engaging learning environments.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or related field preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a child-focused role or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support.
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs.
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills.
• Support positive behavior development.
• Record session data and client progress.
• Create engaging and structured learning environments.
