Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is hiring a Behavior Technician to support children with autism and related developmental differences in home and community settings.

You will work one-on-one with clients under the guidance of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement treatment plans and help build communication, social, and daily living skills. Responsibilities include recording session data, creating engaging learning environments, and ensuring consistent progress across sessions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Plus one of the following: college coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or related field; or at least one year of relevant experience (Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, Behavioral Interventionist, Paraprofessional, Child Development Professional, Camp Counselor, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support.
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs.
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills.
• Support positive behavior development.
• Record session data and client progress.
• Create engaging and structured learning environments.
