Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Behavioral Technician to work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental delays and behavioral health challenges.

Responsibilities include helping children develop social and communication skills, documenting progress, and implementing plans designed by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts. Morning, afternoon and evening shifts available.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completion of college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or a minimum of one year experience with children in roles such as Child Development, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
