Job summary

At Centria Autism, we hire enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing targeted behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will help develop communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods while reducing challenging behaviors.

Ideal candidates are compassionate, patient, and team-oriented. No prior experience is required as comprehensive training is provided; expect to stand, walk, and assist with lifting up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certification; TB test as needed.
• Registered Behavior Technician certification obtained after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Maintain safety and assist with lifting up to 50 pounds; collaborate with team and BCBA for ongoing training.
