Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized plans to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training. You must be patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team. You may lift up to 50 pounds and wear training gear as needed.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid and TB test if not current.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Contribute to a supportive team environment and participate in training.
• Ensure safety while assisting children who may be active or heavy.
• Help clients reach their full potential and support families daily.
