Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support K-12 students with intensive behavioral needs in in-district classrooms and standalone schools.

You will implement behavior support plans and provide individualized assistance to students per their IEP. Join our multidisciplinary team, work in diverse educational settings, and help students develop essential life and social skills while maintaining a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; experience with intensive behavioral needs preferred.
• Experience implementing behavioral interventions in educational settings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with an assigned student to meet IEP goals.
• Assist in developing and modifying behavior support plans.
• Record data on behaviors, progress toward goals, and incidents.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques and crisis management when needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents and interdisciplinary team.
