Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs.

You will work one-on-one with an assigned student, help implement individualized behavior plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic guidance within school settings. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with behavioral interventions for students with intensive behavioral needs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one on one with an assigned student to meet goals set forth in their IEP, providing accommodations and modifications as necessary.
• Assist in the development and modification of behavior support plans and implement them; record and track data on behaviors, progress toward goals, and incidents.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Implement de-escalation techniques and crisis management to maintain safety of students and staff.
• Foster a positive environment and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure consistent implementation of plans.
• Provide personal care support as needed and communicate effectively with parents.
