Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, seeks a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support K-12 students with intensive behavioral needs. You will work one-on-one under IEP goals, implement behavior plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote holistic growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Experience working in an educational setting implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive behavioral needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with diverse students in varying developmental, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• One-on-one with an assigned student to meet IEP goals with accommodations and modifications.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans; record data on behaviors and progress toward goals.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Use de‑escalation techniques and, if necessary, crisis management to maintain safety.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment for social and behavioral skill development.
• Supervise students and ensure safe movement to/from locations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent plan implementation.
• Provide personal care support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
