Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs.

You will work one-on-one with students, implement IEP-driven goals, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver behavior support plans. Responsibilities include developing behavior support plans, recording progress, and communicating with families and staff, in a diverse educational setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Experience in an educational setting implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive behavioral needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with an assigned student to meet goals set forth in their IEP, providing accommodations and modifications as necessary.
• Assist in the development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans and record data on behaviors, progress toward goals, and incidents.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Implement de-escalation techniques and crisis management as needed to maintain safety.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment that supports social and behavioral skill development.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
