Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs.

You will work one-on-one with students, implement behavior support plans, collect data, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to help students achieve IEP goals in a classroom setting. Benefits include healthcare, 401(k), and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Experience working in an educational setting implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive behavioral needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in a setting with diverse students from varying backgrounds.
• Work one on one with an assigned student to meet goals set forth in their IEP.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans; record and track data on behaviors, progress toward goals, and incidents.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Implement de-escalation techniques and crisis management to maintain student safety.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages development of social and behavioral skills.
• Supervise students and ensure they are monitored during transit and at school locations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure consistent implementation of plans.
• Provide personal care support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
