Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs under IEP guidance.

You will work one-on-one with assigned students, implement behavior support plans, record progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to foster positive social and educational growth. Strong communication with families is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Work one on one with an assigned student to meet goals in their IEP.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement and record data on behaviors, progress toward goals, and incidents.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Apply de-escalation techniques and crisis management when necessary.
• Foster a positive environment encouraging social and behavioral skills.
• Supervise students and ensure safety during movement to and from locations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent implementation of plans.
• Provide personal care support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
