Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, seeks a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs under IEP guidance. You will work one-on-one, implement behavior support plans, track progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in educational settings with intensive behavioral needs preferred.
• Ability to support students with behavioral interventions and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Work one on one with an assigned student to meet goals in their IEP.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans and record progress and incidents.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Implement de-escalation techniques and crisis management as needed.
• Foster a positive environment and collaborative teamwork.
• Supervise students and ensure safe movement between locations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure consistency in plans.
• Provide personal care support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
