Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism and implement individualized behavior plans under a BCBA. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods while maintaining a supportive team environment.

We provide comprehensive training so you can contribute from day one. You must be patient, compassionate, and able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed to assist clients and carry objects safely.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test
• Background check required
• Ability to move in various positions (sitting, squatting, bending, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children and implement individualized plans.
• Follow guidance of a BCBA and use evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Ensure safety while assisting children during activities.
