Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in one-on-one sessions. You will implement individualized intervention plans under a BCBA supervision and help teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience necessary; we provide comprehensive training. You must be patient and team-oriented, able to stand, move, and assist with children up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion with children on the autism spectrum.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test
• Background check per employment policy
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors under BCBA guidance.
• Maintain a safe, engaging, supportive environment.
