Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

Prior experience is not required as comprehensive training is provided. This role involves standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and collaborating with a dedicated team to make a positive impact daily.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age and HS diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test within a year.
• Background check required and able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based methods.
• Interact with families to support progress and carry out interventions.
• Move in various positions and assist with physical activities as needed.
