Job summary

The YMCA of Orange County seeks Part-time Youth Development Staff to work with children in the San Gabriel Valley after school.

You will mentor students ages 5-12, guiding curriculum-aligned activities (STEM, arts, homework) and fostering a welcoming, inclusive environment for families. The role emphasizes caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility in daily interactions.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience working with children preferred in an after-school, camp, or daycare setting.
• Education: 48 college units or passing proficiency exam prior to hire for (non-licensed/ASES programs).
