Job summary

YMCA of Orange County is seeking part-time Childcare Teachers for Lincoln Elementary YMCA in Corona del Mar, CA. Join a mission-driven team and help children grow through engaging activities and caring guidance.

You will supervise children ages 5-12, implement curriculum activities, and support families during after-school programs. A background check will follow a conditional offer and training is provided.

Salary Range: $16.90 - $20.45 Hourly

Minimum Qualifications (Must Meet One Level):

• Minimum Age: 18+ years old.
• Experience: Required experience working with children (ages 5-12) in an after-school, camp, or daycare setting.
• Education Requirements:
  • Assistant: High School Diploma (Experience preferred).
  • Teacher 1: 6 Child Development (CD) units + continuous enrollment toward 12 units (6 months experience required).
  • Teacher 2: 12 CD units (6 months experience required).
  • Teacher 3: 12 college units (6 in CD/Education) + 1 year experience required.
