Job summary

Lighthouse ABA, based in New York City, is seeking passionate Behavior Technicians to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. This role emphasizes building trusting relationships with clients and families while applying evidence-based interventions.

You will conduct sessions, collect data, follow individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with the BCBA and care team.

Qualifications

ABA therapy experience or coursework preferred.
Strong communication with families and interdisciplinary team.
Ability to collect data and follow treatment plans.

Responsibilities

Implement ABA therapy techniques under the supervision of a BCBA.
Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to children, following individualized treatment plans.
Teach and reinforce social, communication, and behavioral skills in a supportive environment.
Foster a positive and engaging therapeutic relationship with clients, promoting independence.
Conduct assessments, collect data, and track progress to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
Collaborate with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team to review progress and adjust plans.
Communicate with parents/caregivers, provide updates on goals and strategies for home generalization.
Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and data collection.
Engage in ongoing training to enhance ABA therapy knowledge and skills.
