Job summary

Lighthouse, a New York City-based ABA therapy provider, is seeking passionate Behavior Technicians to join our team. You will deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA, helping them develop communication, social, and daily living skills.

You will work closely with families, track progress with data, and participate in ongoing training to grow your skills in a supportive, growth-minded environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with individuals on the autism spectrum is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA therapy techniques under supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions following individualized treatment plans.
• Teach social, communication, and behavioral skills in a structured environment.
• Foster a positive therapeutic relationship and promote independence.
• Conduct assessments, collect data, and track progress to ensure effective outcomes.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and team to review progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Communicate with parents/caregivers about goals, progress, and strategies for generalization of skills to the home setting.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapy sessions and data collection.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
