Job summary

Lighthouse is seeking passionate Behavior Technicians in New York to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement evidence-based interventions and track progress to improve communication and independence.

Ideal candidates are patient, empathetic, and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills for families and the team. Flexible hours including evenings and weekends are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; ABA experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow BCBA supervision and treatment plans.
• Strong communication with families and team members.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA techniques under BCBA supervision.
• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions per individualized plans.
• Teach social, communication, and behavioral skills in a structured setting.
• Build rapport with children and families to support independence.
• Collect data, track progress, and adjust plans as needed.
• Collaborate with BCBA and interdisciplinary team on progress review.
• Communicate therapy goals and progress to parents/caregivers.
• Maintain accurate session documentation and records.
