Health First is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver direct nursing care under RN supervision in a hospital/clinical setting in Florida.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Certified Nursing Assistant course and scheduled to take Florida State exam.
• Must obtain Florida CNA licensure within 120 days of start date or hold licensure in another state and pursue Florida licensure within 120 days.
• Certification: American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider prior to start date and maintained.
• Proficient in English; able to read, write and follow instructions.
• Proficient with computer software and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Delivers basic patient care in a clean, safe environment and completes tasks timely.
• Communicates effectively with health care team and supports team functioning.
• Accesses IV solutions, medications and supplies as needed for patient care under supervision.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment and uses equipment and supplies economically.
• Collects, records and reports accurate patient information.
• Performs routine procedures and supports colleagues to maintain productivity.
• Respectful and sensitive service to patients and families.
