Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of Certified Nursing Assistant Course and scheduled to take the Florida State exam.
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification prior to start date.
• English language proficiency required; ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Proficiency with computer software including EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Delivers basic patient care as directed by the RN in a clean, safe environment.
• Communicates effectively with the health care team and patients/families.
• Assists with IV solutions and medications as needed for patient care.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment and uses equipment responsibly.
• Collects, records, and reports accurate patient information.
• Performs routine procedures and supports team productivity.
• Provides compassionate service to patients and families, respecting individual differences.
• Contributes to positive patient experiences and satisfaction scores.
