Job summary

Health First is hiring a Full-Time CNA for the Night shift at Viera Hospital. The CNA delivers basic patient care under RN supervision, communicates with the health care team, and ensures a clean, safe environment while maintaining patient confidentiality and comfort.

The ideal candidate will have a Florida CNA license (or be pursuing one with 120 days), BLS completion, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. Nights and shift reports are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CNA course and Florida state exam eligibility.
• No prior work experience required.
• CNA licensure in Florida within 120 days or active in another state with Florida licensure plan within 120 days.
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• MS Office or EMR systems experience considered a plus.
• Ability to speak, read and respond in English.
• Willingness to work nights and rotate shifts.

Responsibilities

• Delivers basic care to patients as directed in a clean and safe environment.
• Communicates effectively with health care team and families.
• Accesses IV solutions, medications and supplies as needed for patient care responsibilities.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment; uses equipment economically.
• Collects, records, and reports accurate patient information.
• Performs routine procedures and assists others to maintain productivity.
• Provides service to patients and families with sensitivity and respect for their needs.
• Contributes to patient experience with patient satisfaction scores and bedside shift report.
• Demonstrates positive financial performance of the unit.
