Qualifications

• Graduate of Certified Nursing Assistant course and must obtain Florida state licensure within 120 days of start.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification prior to start date and maintained.
• Fluent in English, able to understand and respond to written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver basic patient care as directed in a clean, safe environment.
• Communicate effectively with health care team and families.
• Handle IV solutions, medications and supplies as needed for patient care.
• Maintain clean, safe surroundings and proper equipment care.
• Record and report accurate patient information.
• Assist licensed personnel with direct nursing tasks under RN supervision.
• Support patient and family needs with courtesy and respect.
