Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Senior Training Manager in Oncology to develop and deliver training for Franchise A, supporting Imbruvica or Epkinly. You will work with global trainers and co-promote partners to craft content on disease states, product knowledge, sales effectiveness, and operations training for the Commercial organization.

The role requires strong collaboration across Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Medical, and Regulatory teams and a track record of delivering impactful training solutions in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience.
• Training, Marketing or Sales experience in pharma/biotech preferred.
• Knowledge of Oncology/Hematology disease areas preferred.
• Experience developing training tools to enhance clinical acumen is a plus.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles, training design concepts, and platforms is a plus.
• Exceptional ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
• Exceptional oral presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain subject matter expertise for disease states, products and therapeutic areas.
• Develop and execute training programs and initiatives with minimal guidance.
• Design and enhance curriculum to meet the needs of the Commercial organization.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Medical and Regulatory to ensure accuracy of medical content and compliance.
• Manage vendors for training content development and contract requirements.
• Lead training meetings including planning, logistics, vendor monitoring, and participant conduct.
• Partner with Marketing and Sales to develop training aligned with brand objectives and rollout materials for field colleagues.
• Influence and lead with cross-functional teams to provide effective training solutions.
• Collaborate with external partners to deliver best-in-class training materials.
