Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Senior Training Manager, Oncology to lead the development and delivery of Oncology training for commercial field representatives. The role requires partnering with Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Medical, Regulatory, and external vendors to ensure accurate, compliant content and timely program delivery.

You will stay current on disease states, products, and sales effectiveness training, drive curriculum design, and coordinate cross‑functional initiatives aligned to brand

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years pharma/biotech industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Medical Oncology and Gynecologic Oncology areas preferred.
• Experience developing training tools to enhance clinical acumen is a plus.
• Familiarity with adult learning principles and training design concepts.

Responsibilities

• Developing and delivering Oncology training for commercial field representatives.
• Maintaining subject matter expertise in disease states, products, and therapeutic areas.
• Coordinating with Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Medical and Regulatory for content accuracy and compliance.
• Managing vendors and contracts for training content development.
• Leading training meetings and coordinating rollout of materials for field colleagues.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver effective training solutions.
• Building trusted partnerships with business units and external partners.
