Munson Healthcare is seeking a Medical Business Associate (Receptionist) to be the first point of contact for patients and families at Cowell Family Cancer Center in Traverse City. You will verify insurance data, enter information into the registration system, and schedule appointments with a professional, welcoming presence.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 6 months to 1 year of customer service experience, and proficiency with typing and Windows across multiple computer systems.

Qualificações

• High school graduate or GED.
• 6 months to 1 year Customer Service experience required.
• Proficient in typing, Windows, and experience with multiple computer systems.
• Specialist: High school graduate or GED; Associate Degree Preferred; A minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Medical Practice Business Associate or working in a similar healthcare role.

Responsabilidades

• You are the first point of contact for patients and families, setting the tone for care, wellness, and healing.
• Obtain/verify all required patient and insurance information and enter it into the registration system accurately.
• Schedule patient appointments, including return visits, referrals, and diagnostic procedures.
• Greet patients professionally in person and over the phone and respond effectively to patients and their families.
