Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for the Night Shift in the Medical Observation Unit. The role focuses on oncology patients requiring short-term hospitalization, with emphasis on assessment, symptom management, and discharge education.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN or an ADN with RN licensure in Florida, BLS, and strong teamwork skills. Sign-on bonus and clinical ladder opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Nursing or ADN with relevant RN licensure.
• Current FL RN license or multi-state with FL as primary state.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing monitoring of oncology patients.
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition and escalate as needed.
• Educate patients/caregivers on symptoms, medications and discharge.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacy, case management and care teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with standards.
