Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Florida is seeking an experienced RN to join our Float Pool for the In-Patient units on a night schedule. This RN Float role provides coverage across MCC and MMH to ensure continuous, high-quality cancer patient care using the nursing process.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years ICU and oncology experience, a BSN (or ASN with 1 year of relevant experience), and FL RN licensure. This is a full-time, onsite position with competitive night shift pay and opportunities for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science of Nursing required.
• In lieu of Bachelors, an Associate's degree in Nursing plus 1 year of relevant experience may be considered.
• Preferred Education—Master's Degree.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida or equivalent multi-state privilege.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for cancer patients and families.
• Documents patient education based on learning needs.
• Participates in evidence-based improvement activities and professional development.
• Provides age-appropriate care and discharge planning across inpatient units.
