Job summary

The role requires a BSN (or ADN with 1 year of relevant experience), FLRN license or multi-state privileges with FL as primary state, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science of Nursing required.
• In lieu of Bachelor's, an Associate's degree in Nursing plus 1 year of relevant experience may be considered.
• Current Registered Nurse license in Florida or Multi-State privilege with Florida as primary residence.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing monitoring of patients requiring observation and short-term medical management.
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate care as appropriate.
• Manage common oncology-related complications including pain, nausea, dehydration, fever, electrolyte imbalances, anemia, neutropenia, and treatment-related side effects.
• Educate patients and caregivers on symptom management, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacy, case management, social work, nutrition, and other team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation adhering to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
