Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night Shift (Weekend) to deliver individualized nursing care to cancer patients and families on a 32-bed unit offering post-op and oncology infusion care.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of inpatient Medical-Surgical experience with Head & Neck, GU, or post-op patients, and hold a valid FL nursing license with BCLS. NPDB considerations apply. The role is onsite in Tampa, FL.

Qualifications

• BSN or ASN with 1 year of relevant experience.
• BCLS certification required.
• Florida license to practice nursing.
• NPDB self-query before proceeding with employment application.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate care for cancer patients and families.
• Provides patient education based on learning needs.
