Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking an RN Clinical Nurse to join an interdisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care on the Oncology unit. This is a full-time Day shift, 7am–7pm, with ongoing professional development under the Wellstar governance model.

The RN will perform the nursing process, support evidence-based practice, and collaborate with care managers, physicians, and families to achieve optimal patient outcomes; licensure and certifications required on

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in nursing or graduate of accredited nursing program required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment; diagnosis; identification of outcomes; planning; implementation and evaluation) using evidence-based practice.
• Provides relationship-based, patient-centered care reflecting cultural diversity and individual needs.
• Partners with the patient and family using bedside shift report, rounds, and teaching to meet goals of care.
• Practices using current clinical practice standards and supports shared governance.
• Coordinates delivery and documentation of safe, high-quality patient care with interdisciplinary teams and timely documentation.
