Job summary

The RN Clinical Nurse at Wellstar Cobb Hospital is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team delivering high-quality, safe patient care. Licensed and operating under Wellstar Practice Model and ANA standards, you will support voice of the patient and uphold service excellence in a busy oncology unit.

Unit emphasizes adult cancer patients undergoing inpatient treatments; hours are FT Days 7am-7pm, with sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing or graduate of accredited/approved school of nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence-based practice.
• Provides relationship-based patient-centered care with cultural sensitivity and individualized care.
• Partners with patient and family through bedside shift reports, rounds, and patient teaching.
• Maintains documentation and participates in performance improvement and shared governance.
