Job summary

Wellstar Health System is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Oncology MedSurg Unit at Cobb Hospital in Georgia. The role supports inpatient cancer care with adult patients and a day shift from 7am to 7pm. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available for eligible candidates.

The RN will work within a multidisciplinary team under nurse leadership, delivering high-quality, compassionate care aligned with Wellstar guidelines and the organization's governance model.

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Diploma/ Bachelors Nursing preferred.
• RN license (Single State) or Compact licensure.
• BLS certification (or ARC BLS or BLS-I) required/preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation with evidence-based practice.
• Provides patient-centered care and coordinates with a diverse interdisciplinary team.
• Supports staff through collaboration, documentation, and adherence to standards of care.

Education

Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred

RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact

BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
