Job summary

The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team on the Oncology MedSurg Unit at Cobb Hospital, providing high-quality, patient-centered care to adult cancer patients in an inpatient setting. The role upholds Wellstar's professional practice model and emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient safety, and compassionate care.

Minimum education includes an RN license with BLS certification; one year of direct patient care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license (single state) or compact license
• BLS certification required upon hire
• Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience preferred
• Oncology MedSurg nursing understanding is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, high-quality patient care on the Oncology MedSurg unit.
• Perform the nursing process with evidence-based practice and accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and service excellence
