Job summary

UPMC Hillman Cancer Center seeks a Regular Full-Time Professional Staff Nurse (RN) to support the CTRC in Pittsburgh. The position offers a $6,000 sign-on bonus and a daylight schedule Monday-Friday.

As a Registered Nurse on the care delivery team, you will establish care standards, supervise patient care activities, and collaborate with physicians and families to achieve desired outcomes across the care continuum.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Participates in quality improvement efforts and supports patient satisfaction with care and service.
• Maintains professional practice and engages with the care team to improve patient outcomes.
• Fosters productive relationships with physicians, health care providers, patients, and families.
• Provides teaching to patients and families about care episodes and transitions.
• Applies nursing process to create a healing environment and coordinates plans of care.
