Job summary

UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Pittsburgh is hiring a Regular Full-Time Professional Staff Nurse, ONC (RN) to support the Medical Oncology team on the 2nd-floor unit. The role is daylight hours, Monday through Friday, as Collaborative Practice Nurse with potential to float to other oncology programs.

A $6,000 sign-on bonus is offered; the nurse will work with the Sarcoma Oncology program and collaborate with providers to assess and manage clinic patients, and participate in quality improvement

Qualifications

• RN licensure required
• Oncology nursing knowledge preferred
• Experience in patient education and care planning preferred

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in quality improvement efforts.
• Develops and maintains relationships with the care team and patients.
• Provides patient teaching and supports discharge planning.
