Job summary

UPMC Hillman Cancer Center is hiring for a Regular Full-Time Professional Staff Nurse, ONC (RN) to support the Murtha Medical Oncology office in Johnstown, PA. The position offers a $6,000 sign-on bonus and a daylight schedule, Monday through Friday, as a Treatment/Infusion nurse.

The Professional Staff Nurse is a registered nurse responsible for delivering patient care with leadership and collaboration across the care team.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license and current state licensure.
• Demonstrated nursing competencies and clinical judgment.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to oncology patients with independence and collaboration.
• Lead and participate in patient care planning with physicians and the care team.
• Educate patients and families about treatment, procedures, and post-discharge care.
• Participate in quality improvements and ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
• Demonstrate leadership, adaptability, and professional development in a clinical setting.
