Job summary

UPMC Hillman Cancer Center seeks a Professional Staff Nurse in Oncology/Infusion to support the 4th‑floor Medical Oncology team at the Lemieux Center in Pittsburgh. The role offers a $6,000 sign‑on bonus and a regular full‑time daylight schedule.

As a Registered Nurse, you will collaborate with physicians and the care team, lead care planning, and teach patients and families throughout episodes of care, while upholding standards and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must hold Pennsylvania Registered Nurse licensure (PA, OH or NY).
• Current CPR/BLS as per AHA standards.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience.
• Oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in department or unit‑specific quality improvement efforts and supports patient satisfaction.
• Collaborates with care delivery team and documents care plans.
• Maintains productive relationships with patients, families and staff across departments.
• Provides teaching to patients and families during episodes of care and transitions.
• Adapts to change and supports the change process in a busy oncology infusion setting.
