Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks an Oncology Registered Nurse to evaluate, plan, implement, and document nursing care for oncology patients. The role involves hospital and outpatient settings, assisting with surgery prep, coordinating cancer treatments, and monitoring vitals and pain.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Indiana.
• Oncology nursing experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel between locations in Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, implement and document nursing care for oncology patients.

• Monitor vitals, manage side effects and pain in outpatient settings.

The Oncology Registered Nurse evaluates, plans, implementsand documents nursing care for the oncology patient population. The OncologyRegistered Nurse works in hospitals and outpatient care centers where patientsreceive cancer treatments. In hospitalsettings, the Oncology Registered Nurse assists with surgery prep, patienteducation and coordination of their cancer treatments. In outpatient care center settings, theOncology Registered Nurse typically helps with treatments such as chemotherapyand infusions while monitoring patients' vitals, side effects, and pain.
