Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Home Health Registered Nurse to provide and document skilled one-on-one nursing care per the physician-ordered care plan. This role is primarily in the patient’s home or a residential setting, with occasional travel to appointments or activities.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, active RN license in the practicing state, CPR if applicable, health certificate, and meeting all federal, state, and local requirements;

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR certification if applicable.
• Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document skilled one-on-one home health nursing care per physician-ordered care plan.
• Care provided mostly in the patient’s home or residential setting; may transfer outside the home for appointments or other activities.

Job description

The Home Health Registered Nurse is responsible for providing and documenting skilled one-on-one nursing care in accordance with the physician-ordered individualized patient care plan. This care is provided mostly in the patient’s home or a residential setting but can transfer outside the home during appointments and other activities the nurse may accompany the patient to.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state in which the RN will practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
