Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within a multidisciplinary team. The role focuses on evidence-based nursing practices, coordination across care teams, and ongoing patient/family education to achieve optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, plan-of-care development, and safe medication administration while supporting high-quality, individualized patient care in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• RN license is required in New Jersey.
• BSN in progress or willingness to obtain within 3 years of hire.
• Six months or more nursing experience or active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency Program.
• Must lift at least 35 lbs, push/pull 10 lbs, stand 6+ hours daily.
• BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Collect comprehensive health data and assess adults across disease states.
• Coordinate plan of care with nursing peers, physicians and support services.
• Communicate plans of care and patient status to care team and family.
• Administer medications following safety protocols and technology aids.
• Discharge planning to ensure safe transitions and continuity of care.
