Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or diploma in nursing.
• New Jersey State Professional RN license.
• BLS/AHA Basic Life Support certification within 60 days of start.
• BSN in progress or willing to obtain within 3 years of hire.
• Six months of nursing experience or active Nurse Residency Program participation.
• One year of nursing experience strongly preferred.
• Strong teamwork, accountability and patient-focused care.
• National Certification in specialty area preferred when eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care as part of an interdisciplinary care team.
• Delegate, validate and coordinate care among team members.
• Coordinate patient care and unit activities with nursing staff, physicians and support services.

Education

Associate degree in nursing or diploma in nursing

BSN in progress or willingness to pursue within 3 years

BLS/AHA Basic Life Support

NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License

Nursing experience (6+ months) or Nurse Residency Program participant

One year nursing experience preferred

Strong teamwork and patient-focused care

National Certification preferred when eligible
