Job summary

Texas Oncology in Abilene, TX is seeking a Pharmacy Admixture Tech to join our clinic team. Hours are 8:30 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, providing medication preparation, distribution, and record-keeping under supervision.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, with 3–5 years of pharmacy experience and IV skills; oncology experience is preferred. Candidates should be detail-oriented, able to work in a team, and compliant with safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• IV skills and experience in pharmacy settings preferred.
• Oncology IV preparation experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of medication orders under supervision.
• Verify patient information and physician authorization for orders.
• Admix drugs accurately and timely per guidelines and compliance.
• Maintain accurate temperature logs and inventory records.
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of the admixture area and pharmacy.
• Support with label prep, data entry, and stocking medications.
