Job summary

Texas Oncology in Midland, TX is seeking a Pharmacy/Admixture Technician to support the admixture room and pharmacy operations. Typical hours are 8:30a-5:00p, Monday through Friday, with responsibilities including compounding, medication preparation, and inventory control.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, 3 years pharmacy experience or more, and IV skills. Oncology background and state certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Entry level to three years experience in a pharmacy.
• IV certification preferred and recommended for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of medication orders and admixing under supervision.
• Verify patient information and physician authorization on orders.
• Admix drugs accurately and timely per guidelines and regulations.
• Maintain temperature logs and inventory records for meds and supplies.
• Support label preparation, data entry, and pre-billing review as directed.
