Novant Health's Cancer Institute Matthews location is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II - Certified to support the outpatient oncology pharmacy team, delivering sterile and non-sterile admixtures and medication distribution.

This role requires hospital experience and sterile compounding expertise, with state registration and certification within 60 days of hire. Some travel to other cancer institutes may be required.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician duties including sterile compounding and medication distribution.
• Must adhere to USP 797/800, Board of Pharmacy and DEA requirements.
• Ability to travel to other cancer centers as needed.

Responsabilités

• Compounding and delivery of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous sterile admixtures.
• Processing refills to automated dispensing machines and replenishments to emergency kits and carts.
• Proficiency with equipment and software used for pharmacy operations.
• Maintain regulatory requirements for USP797/800, Board of Pharmacy, DHHS, DEA.
• Procure medications and supplies as needed for the site.
• Answering and screening telephone calls and refer to a pharmacist when appropriate.
• Flexibility to travel to other cancer institutes and/or infusion centers as needed
